The Department of Public Health, Ministry of Health in collaboration with the SAARC TB and HIV/AIDS Centre (STAC) in Kathmandu, Nepal is hosting “SAARC Regional Training on Data Management on TB and HIV/AIDS” from 26th-28th August 2025 in Thimphu, Bhutan.

The inaugural session was graced by Director Department of Public Health, Ministry of Health along with Director, STAC, Nepal.

Over the course of three days, the participants will have the opportunity to enhance their technical skills in data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting which are essential for improving program management across the region.

Attendees include program managers of National TB & HIV/AIDS Control Programs from all SAARC member states — with participants from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal attending in person, while others join virtually.

The training is being facilitated by three national resource persons from Bhutan.
