The vehicles are set to be deployed to selected health facilities bringing essential medical services closer to communities, particularly in remote and hard-to-reach areas.

The procurement of these MMUs aims to strengthen outreach health services and ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for all. By bringing medical care directly to communities, the MMUs are expected to improve early diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, reducing barriers for populations living far from traditional health facilities.

The MMUs will provide services such as NCD screening, outpatient consultations, Maternal and Child Healthcare (MCH), Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services, as well as health advocacy and promotion activities.
