The Ministry of Health hosted a presentation on the proposed list of hospitals for the Solar PV Project under the Mitigation Action Facility (MAF), with support from UNDP and the Department of Energy. The session was attended by the Hon’ble Lyonpo, the Health Secretary, and officials from the National Medical Services and the Department of Public Health.
The discussion focused on expanding the use of clean and reliable solar energy across health facilities to ensure uninterrupted services and enhance patient care. This initiative reflects the Ministry’s continued commitment to building a sustainable, resilient, and climate-friendly healthcare system for the people.
