Graced by Hon’ble Health Minister as Guest of Honor, the occasion also brought together the Hon’ble Opposition Leader, National Council Member from Trashigang, WHO Representative, Trashigang Dzongdag, representatives from government agencies, development partners, health professionals from across the country, and community members.
This year, 73 dedicated health workers – doctors, nurses, technicians, health assistants, and village health workers were recognized for their tireless service. These are the faces who show up in our most vulnerable moments, who walk the extra mile to reach remote communities, and who quietly carry the responsibility of caring for a nation.May be an image of one or more people and text that says 'NCD SCREENING "Know Your Health Status"'
The Hon’ble Lyonpo reminded us that health is not just built in hospitals – it is shaped in our homes, our schools, our communities, and through the choices we make every day. The event also featured NCD screenings, Sorig-Zhiney and Luejong demonstrations, and cultural performances, making it both informative and enriching.
