The Ministry of Health warmly congratulates Mr. Tashi Penjore on his appointment as Director of the Department of Biomedical Engineering under the National Medical Services, effective 14 July 2026.

With over two decades of dedicated service in biomedical engineering and a Master of Engineering Studies from the University of Sydney, Australia, Mr. Penjore brings extensive expertise and leadership to his new role. We wish him every success in strengthening biomedical engineering services and advancing quality healthcare for the people of Bhutan.
