To mark International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week of Action 2025, a community awareness program was held in Dogar Gewog, Paro Dzongkhag, bringing together 160 community members united by one cause ~ to protect our children from the dangers of lead.
A total of 117 household chili samples were also tested using XRF technology to trace possible sources of lead contamination in local spices.
Every test, every conversation, and every action brings us closer to a Bhutan free from lead exposure ~ where every child can grow up safe, strong, and healthy.
Special thanks to UNICEF Bhutan for their unwavering partnership and support in safeguarding the health of our families
