On behalf of the Bhutan Health Trust Fund (BHTF) Board, His Excellency Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuk, the Chairperson of BHTF, received a donation of Nu. 1,511,200 (Ngultrum One Million Five Hundred Eleven Thousand Two Hundred) from a team led by Dasho Dzongda, representing the people of Haa Dzongkhag on 21st March 2025.

The funds were raised through a Health Walk organized on 15th February 2025, along with contributions from various sectors and individuals in Haa Dzongkhag.

The Chairperson expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dasho Dzongda, Dzongkhag Thrizin, the Dzongkhag Public Health Officer, and the entire community of Haa for their inspiring initiative, unwavering solidarity, and generous support. Their contribution will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued supply of essential drugs and vaccines to sustain primary health care services in the country.
