 l Advocacy Program
DESCRIPTION: Majesty the Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck graciously commenc
 ed the High-Level Advocacy Program\, beginning in Haa Dzongkhag with an au
 dience granted to members of the Multi-Sectoral Task Force – Community B
 ased Support System (MSTF-CBSS) on 7 March.\n\nCoinciding with the launch 
 of the High-Level Advocacy\, Bhutan joined the global community in commemo
 rating International Women’s Day under the theme “Rights. Justice. Act
 ion. For All Women and Girls.” More than 5\,000 people gathered at the p
 ublic ground in Haa in the presence of Her Majesty\, reaffirming the natio
 n’s collective commitment to advancing women’s rights\, gender equalit
 y\, and priority public health issues.\n\nLed by the Hon’ble Sowai Lyonp
 o\, together with the Health Secretary\, officials from the Department of 
 Public Health also advocated on key public health priorities. The Ministry
  also participated in a series of informative presentations for the public
  on the topic ~ Sexual and Reproductive Health Right and Services\, alongs
 ide other agencies and CSOs\n\nA significant milestone of the observance w
 as the launch of the MSTF-CBSS National Guideline\, 4th Edition (2026). De
 veloped by the Ministry of Health through the Health Promotion and Risk Co
 mmunication Division under the Department of Public Health\, in collaborat
 ion with RENEW and UNICEF\, the guideline strengthens the framework for mu
 lti-sectoral collaboration in addressing Bhutan’s priority public health
  and social issues. It reinforces coordinated action from the national lev
 el to the Dzongkhag\, Gewog\, and Chiwog levels\, ensuring stronger govern
 ance\, accountability\, and community engagement.\n\n Led by Her Majesty\,
  the High-Level Advocacy Program will continue to Samtse Dzongkhag and Phu
 entsholing\, further strengthening community engagement and national commi
 tment to health and social well-being.
